Computers nation wide have been hit with worms, including the Zotob (who only attacks windows 2000) and the Rbot worm. Researchers believe that this is due to a war that is going on between rival virus writers. These infections are increasing in an alarming rate, however Microsoft has offered a fix. The infections cannot be traced back to one variant. Symptoms include the repeated shutdown and rebooting of the computer. Individual companies such as Walt Disney, ABC news and CNN have been infected.
